Killian & Gephart – Providing Legal Services for the Members of the Pennsylvania State Education Association

The Harrisburg law firm of Killian & Gephart LLP  represents the Pennsylvania State Education Association on behalf of teachers and other school employees throughout south central Pennsylvania. The firm is a participating provider of legal services under the PSEA-NEA Personal Legal Services Program. This means your membership dues provide you with two great benefits: two, free half-hour consultations with the firm’s lawyers per year and discounted legal fees.

First, every year PSEA members are entitled to two, free half-hour attorney consultations on any topic. The issue does not have to be work-related; it can be simply a question about a lease, a car warranty, a will, or any legal issue you may face. Killian & Gephart LLP lawyers routinely receive calls on an extremely broad array of matters, and can call you after school hours. If you do require legal representation, the free half-hour consultation will absorb the first half-hour of legal fees. The firm does not charge any legal fees without first receiving your approval to exceed the free half-hour consultation.

Second, union members receive a 30% discount on Killian & Gephart LLP’s legal fees. As with the free half-hour consultations, this discount applies to any kind of legal work, and is not limited to legal work related to a union member's employment. Work-related matters are paid for in full by the union when the union determines work-related legal representation is required. A PSEA union member receives a 30% discount on legal fees for wills, powers of attorney, real-estate, adoption, contracts, and any other non-work-related legal matters.
